(Galaxy J7)īasically, everything related with the Google App redirects me without mercy to my browser. I go to settings - Google - Search and that immediately happens. So when I use Google Now to voice search something (for example, 'pictures of baby seals') it immediately without any warning opens up my default browser with the google search box, empty, no results. It wouldn't really bother me if it didn't have this kind of obligatory open style. Whenever I click it to search something, it opens up the browser. I use Nova Launcher and it has a feature to have a persistent Google bar upwards. This could be, of course, a Google protocol to simplify navigation but it has this big bug that I don't think is a feature. My problem is that whenever I try to use the normal Google app or access the Google search settings, my phone immediately opens up my default browser.
So I'm going to say my problem and also clarify some things. So I did a thread about this some time ago but I didn't get any useful answer. That happens at the moment I start the google app.
Just so you know that happens without touching absolutely anything. QUICK EDIT: The second image shows what I said about default apps.
